Who is in charge of the Somriures Study Center?
My name is Patricia although I am usually called Isia, a Galician living in Catalonia since September 2017. A summary of my background:
- Primary Education Teacher (USC).
- Degree in Psychopedagogy from the UAB.
- Master in Bilingual Education (UNIR).
- Family and emotional coach.
- TELF (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) accreditation.
- Other important trainings: ADHD, Dyslexia and educator in Active Pedagogy.
All this in a close environment, with motivating didactic materials and strategies adapted to their specific needs.
What characterizes me the most?
- Use board games adapted to improve the learning of certain content, work on executive functions and strengthen the bond with my students.
- Create customized games and materials for each class or reeducation.
- I teach my students different techniques to make their memorization and assimilation of the contents easier, always looking for the ideal one for each student and each subject.
- Communicate very constantly with families and with my students, giving recommendations for the day to day.







What experience do I have?
- 5 years as director of this center with educational reinforcement sessions, English and psycho-pedagogical accompaniment.
- 4 years as an English teacher in academies with students of all ages and levels from A1 to C1.
- One school year as a teacher of English and subjects with English as a vehicular language in 5th and 6th grade of primary school.
- Year and a half as a Spanish teacher for foreigners in England, students of different ages and levels.
What do I do for a living?
- Re-educations ADHD and Dyslexia, mainly but also ASD, TDL and High Abilities.
- Accompanying families in raising neurotypical and neurodivergent children.
- School support in small groups of 4 students from 2nd grade to high school.
- Teaching English as a foreign language in groups and individual classes.
- Teaching Spanish as a foreign language in individual classes.
