Dyslexia
Description
In my psycho-pedagogical intervention sessions I apply a structured, multisensory and progressive approach, always adapted to the characteristics of each child. The goal is to improve their reading and writing skills, to teach strategies that help them to compensate for their difficulties and to reinforce their self-esteem throughout the process.
What is worked on in the sessions?
- Phonological awareness: recognizing and manipulating the sounds of language
- Sound-letter correspondence and basic spelling rules
- Fluent reading: accuracy and speed training
- Reading comprehension: active strategies to understand what has been read.
- Spelling and written expression: with visual, auditory and kinesthetic support.
- Visual and auditory memory techniques
- Emotional support for dealing with frustration and regaining motivation
I work with specific materials for dyslexia, visual resources, didactic games and educational technology that facilitates the learning process.
