Psycho-pedagogical reeducation
Description
Psycho-pedagogical re-education is a therapeutic and educational process aimed at children who present persistent difficulties in their learning process, related to reading, writing, calculation, attention, comprehension or language. Through individualized work, we seek to strengthen their cognitive, emotional and academic skills, promoting a positive evolution both at school and personal level.
- Learning disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysorthography...)
- Attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Maturational delays or difficulties in basic cognitive functions (attention, memory, planning).
- Emotional problems associated with poor school performance
Through an individualized and systematic intervention, the objective is:
- Improve the cognitive processes involved in learning.
- Develop compensation and self-regulation strategies
- Reinforce basic academic content when necessary
- Enhancing self-esteem and reducing school frustration
The sessions are adapted to the profile and pace of the student, working from an integrative approach that addresses the academic, emotional and behavioral aspects.
What is the difference between school reinforcement and re-education?
School reinforcement focuses on improving performance in specific subjects (such as language or mathematics), supporting overall learning.
Psycho-pedagogical re-education goes further: intervenes on the root causes of difficulties, and not only on school contents. It is indicated when there is a diagnosis or suspicion of a learning disorder.
